Ryan has lived a life of adventure and adversity.  At the age of 19 after two years of planning and fundraising 1/4 of $1,000,000 and renting a small airplane.  

This Aussie teenager set off on a solo flight around the world. 

That wild journey was a success documented in the book “Born to Fly”. The life of highs soon changed following a terrible plane crash landing Ryan diagnosed a paraplegic. What followed was a long journey and not only to his feet but back into the sky.
